Nouriel Roubini is an American economist. He earned the nickname "Dr. Doom" for anticipating the collapse of the United States housing market and the worldwide recession which started in 2008.
He is notorious for his parties at what New York magazine called his “vagina-walled downtown loft,” a triplex he bought in 2010 for $5.5 million. He bullishly boasted to the mag, “The recession has been great for me.”
