Kathleen Fisher is the widow of Larry Fisher († 2001), one of the founders of Fisher Brothers, a NYC real estate firm. The Fishers were considered one of the "royal families" of New York real estate, alongside such clans as the Dursts, Roses, Rudins, and Tishmans. The family's fortune was estimated at $800 million in 1988, and the company was in the Fortune 500 for a time.
