Alison Wrigley Rusack is an heir to the Wrigley chewing gum fortune (great-granddaughter of the company founder, William Wrigley, Jr.). She purchased the “Florestal” estate in 2005 for a reported $50 million.
For nearly 20 years the 38-acre oceanfront property belonged to Essam Kashoggi, brother of former billionaire arms-dealer Adnan Khashoggi. The family also owned the adjacent mansion to the east.
