Pinchuk is the billionaire founder & owner of Interpipe, one of the world's largest producers of steel pipe products. He also owns a number of TV stations and newspapers in Ukraine. As of September 2014, Forbes ranks him as the second-richest Ukrainian, worth an estimated $3.2 billion. Pinchuk is one of the few non-Americans who joined "The Giving Pledge", committing himself to give away at least 50% of his wealth to charitable causes.
