Lynn Schusterman is the widow of Oklahoma wildcatter Charles Schusterman (d. 2000), who built Samson Resources from nothing. In November 2011 the Schustermans decided to sell most of Samson to a KKR-led group for $7.2 billion. Much of the windfall went to the Charles & Lynn Schusterman Foundation.
Forbes currently ranks her as the 113th richest person in America, with a net worth of $3.5 billion.
