The Latsis family is a Greek shipping dynasty, founded by John Latsis (1910-2003) and today run by his son, Spiro. They are also involved in the oil, banking and real estate industry.
Following the recent economic crisis, which especially affected Greece, their fortune collapsed from $11 billion in 2008 to about $2 billion in 2015 (Forbes).
