Yohai has been charged with money laundering through a number of Los Angeles properties. For these properties, it has been claimed that his former father-in-law, Paul Manafort, was laundering money through loans to Yohai.
In May 2018, Yohai cut a plea deal with the U.S. Justice Department to cooperate with the government in their case against Manafort.
