(2019-01-24)Christopher Lee joined KKR in 2006. Mr. Lee is General Counsel for Americas Private Markets and Principal Activities, whose responsibilities cover the public company, corporate governance, the firm’s proprietary transactions, private equity and other investments in the Americas, litigation, human resources, and other regulatory and corporate matters. From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Lee was General Counsel for KKR Private Equity Investors, L.P. (Euronext Amsterdam: KPE). Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Lee was a corporate attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions as well as general corporate and securities law matters. He has a B.A., Cum Laude, from Yale University and a J.D., Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, from Columbia University School of Law.
