Owner of two neighboring lots, Edwin Huffman Morgens, also known as Ned, has been the Chairman of the Administrative Board of the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology since 1989. Mr. Morgens serves as the Chairman of Morgens, Waterfall, Vintiadis & Company, Inc., which he co-founded in 1967. He served as Chairman of Intrenet Inc. until June 12, 2000 and has been its Director since 1991. Mr. Morgens serves as Vice Chairman of the American Museum of Natural History and the Wildwood Foundation. Mr. Morgens serves on the Board Membership, Alumni Affairs and Development, Development Steering, Executive, Finance, Governmental Relations and Investment Committees and on the Investment Committee's Hedge Fund Advisory Subcommittee. Mr. Morgens serves as a Trustee Emeritus of Cornell University. Mr. Morgens serves as a Director of Spectragraphics Corporation of San Diego and Internet Inc. Mr. Morgens has been an Independent Director of Carbon Natural Gas Company since May 21, 2012. He has been a Member of the Major Gifts Committee and a Member of the Major Gifts Committee for the Class of 1963. Mr. Morgens serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for eCornell and an Overseer for the Weill Cornell Medical College since 1994. He served as a Director of Wayside Technology Group, Inc. since May 1982. He was the Chairman of Presidential Search Committee for Cornell's 11th President. Mr. Morgens served as a Director of TransMontaigne Inc. since June 1996. He served as a Director of Sheffield Exploration and Scientific American Magazine Inc. He is a former director of Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation. He received an A.B. in 1983 from the Cornell University and an M.B.A. in 1967 from the Harvard University.
