(2019-04-23)Clarence H. Geist was a financier who played an important role in the early history of Boca Raton, Florida. He purchased the Boca Raton Resort (then called The Cloisters) for $76,350 after Addison Mizner's Mizner Development Corporation fell into bankruptcy while developing the property.
Geist owned this home, originally called The Godfrey Residence, which he renamed Launfal.
Launfal is currently part of the all-girls Catholic school, Academy of Notre Dame de Namur.
