Alfred Freiherr von Oppenheim (1934-2005) was a German billionaire and banker. He headed Sal. Oppenheim, the then biggest private bank in Europe, which was sold to Deutsche Bank in 2010.
In 2004, one year before his death, Forbes ranked him as the 26th richest German, with a net worth of $2.9 billion.
