Von Krockow is a member of an old Pomeranian aristocratic family. He serves as a Partner of Sal. Oppenheim, the once biggest private bank in Europe, and on the supervisory board of Fiat Automobil AG. He also took part in the merger process of Daimler and Chrysler.
